Goodley Garments was founded in 2018 after years of watching smaller buyers struggle to place workable first orders. A brand might need 200 pieces to test a market, only to be quoted a 3,000-piece minimum. We started Goodley to make custom menswear easier to order and easier to follow.

Small orders deserve real production

Most factories won’t touch 100 pieces. The margins are thin, the setup costs are the same, and frankly, small orders are a hassle for production lines built around 3,000-piece runs. We get it. We ran those lines for other people for years before starting Goodley.

But here’s what we kept seeing: a gym owner in Texas needs 150 printed tees for his members. A guy launching a hoodie brand on Shopify has 200 pieces worth of startup budget. A basketball coach in Virginia wants matching compression sets for two teams, 9 styles, mixed youth and adult sizes. None of them could find a factory that took their order seriously.

So we built one.

One dedicated contact follows your order through five clear stages. Product details are confirmed before sampling, and bulk production begins only after you approve the sample.

01 Requirements & Product Development

Send reference images, a tech pack if you have one, target quantity, size range, logo files, intended market, and delivery country. We review the information, clarify missing details, and prepare a workable product plan and quote.

02 Fabric & Pattern Development

We recommend fabric based on the garment, target weight, hand feel, stretch, end use, and budget. We then work through the fit, measurements, construction, and decoration details needed for sampling.

03 Sampling & Approval

We make a pre-production sample for your review and adjust the fit, fabric, color, or decoration details if needed. Sampling usually takes 5 to 7 working days. Bulk production starts after you approve the sample.

04 Bulk Production & Quality Checks

After sample approval and the 50% deposit, bulk production begins. Lead time is usually 10 to 15 working days below 1,000 pieces and 15 to 20 working days for 1,000 to 5,000 pieces. We check fabric, color, measurements, logo placement, and workmanship.

05 Shipping & Delivery

After the final check, the remaining 50% is due before shipment. We arrange courier, air, or sea freight under FOB Guangzhou or Shenzhen, CIF, or DDP terms. The same contact follows your order through delivery.

What is your minimum order quantity?

For full custom development, the MOQ is 100 pieces per style per color. If you choose an existing in-stock garment and only add your logo or neck label, there is no minimum order.

How long does bulk production take?

Orders below 1,000 pieces usually take 10 to 15 working days. Orders from 1,000 to 5,000 pieces usually take 15 to 20 working days.

Can I order a sample before bulk production?

Yes. A pre-production sample usually takes 5 to 7 working days. The sample fee depends on the style and includes courier shipping. It can be refunded when the bulk order reaches the agreed quantity.

How can you ship my order?

We can ship by international courier, air, or sea. Typical transit times are 3 to 7 days by courier, 5 to 10 days by air, and 25 to 35 days by sea. FOB Guangzhou or Shenzhen, CIF, and DDP are available.

What are your payment terms?

Our standard terms are a 50% deposit and the remaining 50% before shipment.

What can I customize?

We can adjust the fabric, fit, color, and sizing. For logos and artwork, we offer screen printing, DTG, heat transfer, water-based printing, flat embroidery, 3D embroidery, and appliqué embroidery.

Can you help with fabric selection?

Yes. We can recommend and source fabrics based on the product, target market, and budget. If your order requires OEKO-TEX materials, we can arrange fabric from certified suppliers.

How do you check quality during production?

We check the order against the approved sample and confirmed details, including fabric, color, measurements, logo placement, and workmanship. The same contact follows the order and raises any mismatch before shipment.

Do I need a tech pack to get started?

Send it if you have one. If not, send reference images, a size chart or measurements, fabric preferences, logo files, and your required quantity. We will review the details before confirming the sample.

Do you offer private-label clothing?

Yes. We can add your logo and neck label using the agreed printing or embroidery method. Full custom development starts at 100 pieces per style per color. Existing in-stock garments with only a logo or neck label added have no minimum order.
