Send a cap reference, clear photos, vector artwork, Pantone references, and quantity. We confirm the profile, fabric, closure, logo position, and thread color before sampling. Samples usually take 5 to 7 working days. Once approved, that sample becomes the locked reference for the production run.

Nail the Crown Shape Before You Think About the Logo

Panel count is just one piece of the puzzle. Front structure (stiff or soft), crown height, seam position, brim width, brim curve, and closure all change how a cap looks on an actual head.

Tell us if you want a low, relaxed fit or a taller, more structured front that gives the logo more room. We check panel layout, brim shape, sweatband width, ventilation eyelets, and closure method on the sample. Photos help. A physical reference cap helps more, because two “5-panel caps” from different factories can look nothing alike.

Simplify the Artwork Before It Goes Into Thread

Thin lines and tiny lettering that look sharp on a screen can close up and blur in embroidery. Fine detail under 1mm just doesn’t hold. 3D embroidery needs even more breathing room between elements, thicker strokes, and wider spacing.

Not every logo suits every method. We check whether flat embroidery, 3D puff embroidery, appliqué, woven patch, printing, or heat transfer works best for your specific artwork on your specific cap fabric. Sometimes the answer is: simplify the logo for caps and keep the detailed version for T-shirts.

See the Full Cap Before You Approve It

Here’s where orders go sideways: the crown fabric, mesh panels, closure strap, sweatband, and embroidery thread all get approved separately, in different emails, on different days. Then the sample arrives and the colors don’t match each other.

We put everything on one sample. Send Pantone references where brand colors matter, confirm the front, side, and back placements together, and approve the full cap as one piece. Full custom orders start at 100 pieces per style per color. During QC, we compare the finished caps against the approved sample for shape, measurements, color, logo position, and visible construction.
