Custom Light Jacket Manufacturer in Guangzhou

Everyone picks the shell fabric first. But the zipper, pocket bags, elastic, rib, lining, and seam finish decide whether the jacket actually works. Get one trim wrong, or use a lining that’s too heavy for the shell, and the whole garment feels off the moment someone puts it on.

Tell us how the jacket will be worn, what goes underneath it, the target climate, and any performance claims on the product listing. Send a tech pack, a reference garment, or detailed product images. Sampling usually takes 5 to 7 working days. The approved sample becomes the reference for production and QC.

01

Decide What the Jacket Actually Needs to Do

Wind resistant, water resistant, and waterproof are three different things. A lightweight woven shell might block a breeze but it won’t keep out steady rain. If your product description makes a specific performance claim, that claim needs to be in the brief before we pick the fabric.

We can discuss shell options and arrange SGS or Intertek testing when the order requires third-party verification. Testing is charged separately.

For ordinary casual jackets, hand feel, weight, and wash care matter just as much as anything else. Not every jacket needs a performance story. Some just need to look right and feel comfortable.

02

Make Room for the Layer Underneath

A jacket pattern needs enough ease for whatever gets worn under it. But too much room makes the shoulders collapse and the hem flare out. Two completely different problems from the same cause: the pattern wasn’t built around the right base layer.

Tell us if the jacket goes over a T-shirt, a hoodie, or a work uniform. We review body ease, sleeve width, armhole depth, hood or collar, lining, zipper, snaps, elastic, rib, and pocket bags based on that.

Try the sample with the actual base layer on. Measuring it flat on a table doesn’t tell the whole story.

03

Match the Decoration to the Shell

Heavy embroidery can pucker a thin shell. A large heat transfer can change how a lightweight jacket drapes. The decoration method has to work with the specific fabric you chose, not against it.

We check the artwork, fabric weight, placement, and finish before recommending screen printing, heat transfer, water-based printing, flat embroidery, 3D embroidery, or appliqué.

Bulk production starts after sample approval. Orders under 1,000 pieces normally take 10 to 15 working days. Orders from 1,000 to 5,000 pieces normally take 15 to 20 working days. Shipping time is separate.

WHO WE MAKE FOR

Jackets for Different Kinds of Orders

A streetwear brand testing an oversized drop has a different brief from a gym ordering staff hoodies. We build the garment around the buyer, the season, and how it will be worn.

01

Streetwear and DTC Brands

Streetwear brands usually start with the silhouette. Shoulder drop, body width, hood shape, fabric weight, and rib tension all need to work together. At 100 pieces per style per color, launching one colorway keeps the first test order focused. Dial in the base garment first. Add the label and artwork after the fit feels right.

02

Wholesalers and Online Sellers

Wholesalers need a style they can reorder without rebuilding the brief every time. We record the approved size chart, fabric, color reference, trim details, artwork dimensions, and packaging. Use the same specification sheet for future batches, then update only the quantities, colors, or approved changes. Each reorder gets a clean starting point.

03

Gyms, Clubs and Company Merchandise Buyers

Gyms, clubs, teams, breweries, and company merch buyers often need mixed sizes and a clear logo placement rather than a complex fashion fit. Pullover hoodies work well for merchandise. Zip-ups are easier to layer for staff. Crewneck sweatshirts keep the front open for larger graphics or embroidery. Tell us how the garment will be used before choosing the fabric.

JACKET AND OUTERWEAR STYLES

Light Outerwear You Can Customize

A coach jacket and a bomber may share a similar weight, but the pattern, closure, hem, and trim plan are different. Pick the closest starting point and tell us what needs changing.
