Custom Caps & Accessories
Caps are the only product where the decoration matters more than the garment. Nobody buys a blank cap on purpose. The embroidery on the front panel, the patch, the branded snap closure. That’s the product. The cap is just the thing it sits on.
Baseball caps, dad hats, truckers, snapbacks, bucket hats, beanies. Cut and sewn from your spec. MOQ is 100 pieces per style per color. We also produce branded tote bags, drawstring bags, and other small accessories as add-ons to apparel orders.

Who orders custom caps from us
The add-on that outsells the main line.
Brands & merch lines
Caps are the most profitable piece in most product lines. Low production cost, high perceived value, and everyone wears them. Streetwear brands sell more caps than hoodies in some seasons. Most start with one style (structured 6-panel, embroidered logo, snapback closure) and expand from there. We see a lot of brands order caps alongside their first hoodie or tee run.
Corporate & promotional
Company caps for employees, trade shows, client gifts. Left-chest equivalent on a cap is a front-panel logo. Simple, one embroidery location, adjustable closure, done. These orders are fast because the spec barely varies.
Sports teams & fan merch
Team caps for players, coaches, and fans. Structured for a classic look, unstructured for a casual vibe. Flat brim for the players, pre-curved for the parents in the stands.
Available styles
Pick a base. Every cap is fully customizable: fabric, structure, closure, decoration.
6-panel structured cap
Classic baseball cap. Buckram-lined front panels. The standard.
Dad hat
Unstructured 6-panel, strapback. Soft crown, relaxed fit.
Trucker cap
Mesh back panels, foam front. Snapback closure.
5-panel cap
Flat seams, minimalist. Skate and streetwear.
Flat-brim snapback
Structured, flat brim, plastic snap closure. Team and street style.
Bucket hat
Wide brim all around. Reversible option available.
Beanie
Knit, cuffed or uncuffed. Acrylic, cotton, or wool blend.
Visor
Open top, pre-curved brim. Sports and outdoor events.
What you can customize on every cap
Small garment. A lot of decisions packed into it.
Fabric
Cotton twill is the default. Polyester for performance and sublimation. Wool blend for a premium feel and more structured crown. Corduroy and canvas for texture. Mesh panels (polyester or nylon) for trucker backs. The front two panels are usually the stiffest fabric in the cap. The rest can be lighter or mesh.
Color
Pantone matching on all fabrics. Two-tone (different crown and brim colors) is common. Underbrim color matters too. Used to be green on everything, now most go grey or match the crown. Custom underbrim color available.
Crown & structure
Structured (buckram insert behind the front panels) or unstructured (no insert, soft crown). Mid-profile or high-profile. The buckram is what makes a cap hold its shape on a shelf and on a head. Unstructured caps collapse flat, which some brands want and some don't.
Brim
Flat or pre-curved. The flat brim vs curved brim debate is a style choice, not a quality one. Flat ships flat, the customer curves it themselves if they want. Pre-curved ships ready to wear. Brim length is adjustable too. Standard is about 70mm.
Closure
Plastic snapback, fabric strapback with metal buckle or D-ring, velcro, fitted (no closure). Strapback with a brass or matte black buckle is the premium option. Velcro is the fastest and cheapest. Fitted requires a full size run (7 to 8 in eighth increments) which multiplies your SKU count. Most brands avoid fitted unless they have the demand to justify it.
Logo & decoration
Embroidery is the standard. Flat embroidery for clean logos, 3D puff for raised texture (foam sits under the thread to lift it). A typical front-panel logo runs 5,000 to 12,000 stitches. Side embroidery, back embroidery, and underbrim embroidery are additional locations. More on this in the decoration section below.
Details
Eyelets: embroidered (thread matches the panel, seamless look) or metal (classic, silver or brass). Sweatband: cotton twill standard, moisture-wicking performance optional. Seam tape inside the crown covers the raw stitching. Top button: matching fabric-covered or metal.
Labels & packaging
Woven interior label, hang tag. Caps ship flat or pre-shaped depending on the style. Individual poly bags. Structured caps need more careful packaging to protect the crown shape.
Fabric availability
Stock cotton twill and polyester in 1-3 days. Corduroy, wool, and specialty fabrics in 7-15 days.
Cotton twill
The cap fabric. 200-260gsm. Every color, every supplier, always in stock. Holds embroidery well, takes Pantone dye easily, breaks in over time. There's a reason 80% of custom caps are cotton twill. It works.
Polyester
Performance caps. Moisture-wicking, colorfast, sublimation-ready. 150-200gsm. Lighter than cotton. Good for outdoor events, sports teams, and any cap that's going to get sweated in regularly.
Wool blend
Usually 50-80% wool with acrylic or polyester. Gives a denser, more structured crown. Common on premium snapbacks and cold-weather caps. Costs more than cotton twill. The difference is visible and tactile.
Corduroy / canvas
Textured options. Corduroy has that ribbed surface that works for fall/winter collections. Canvas is heavier and stiffer. Both embroider well. Corduroy cap drops sell out fast in Q4 for a reason.

Cap branding
On a cap, the logo IS the product.
Embroidery
Flat embroidery and 3D puff are the two options and most caps use one or both. Flat for clean, precise logos. 3D puff for raised, textured logos (a layer of foam sits under the stitching to lift it off the panel). Puff works best on structured caps with stiff front panels. On a dad hat, puff can warp the soft crown. Stitch count determines cost: a simple wordmark at 5,000 stitches is cheap. A detailed mascot at 15,000 stitches is not. We digitize your artwork in-house and send a stitch preview before production.
Woven patches
An alternative to direct embroidery. The patch is made separately and sewn onto the cap. Gives a different texture and a clean, raised look. Easier to apply the same patch to different cap colors without re-digitizing per colorway. Merrow-edge (visible border stitching) or heat-cut edge (clean). A lot of outdoor and heritage brands prefer patches over direct embroidery.
Screen print
Common on trucker cap mesh panels and flat surfaces. Works for large, simple graphics where embroidery would be too dense. Water-based ink on cotton. Not as durable as embroidery on a cap brim or panel that gets handled constantly.
Custom hardware
Branded closure buckle (engraved or debossed). Branded top button. Custom metal eyelets. Woven strap with your brand name. The closure is the second thing people notice after the front logo. A branded brass buckle on the back of a strapback is a small cost per unit and a big brand signal.
