Custom Light Jackets & Outerwear

Jackets are the most expensive piece per unit in most orders. They’re also the one piece people wear in public, zip up on camera, hand to a friend to try on. Get the zipper wrong, cheap out on the lining, or skip the bartack at the pocket corners, and the whole thing falls apart faster than it should.

Coach jackets, bombers, windbreakers, varsity jackets, fleece. All cut and sewn from your spec. MOQ is 100 pieces per style per color.

Who orders custom jackets from us

Nobody photographs your T-shirt. They photograph your jacket.

Streetwear & DTC brands

Coach jackets and bombers. This is usually the second or third product a brand launches after tees and hoodies. The construction is more complex and the price per unit is higher, so most brands test with a smaller run (100-200 pieces) to gauge demand. Full private label. Branded zipper pulls are the detail that makes people notice.

Sports teams & schools

Staff hoodies, conference giveaways, product launch drops. These orders care about turnaround time and batch consistency more than anything else. WeVarsity jackets for letter winners. Sideline jackets for coaches and staff. Warm-up jackets for pre-game. These orders often come as add-ons to an existing team apparel order. The Pantone and logo specs are already on file from a previous run, which makes the jacket order faster to set up. keep your specs and print files on record so every reorder matches the first run.

Corporate & events

Branded windbreakers, company fleece, event giveaway jackets. The logo is usually embroidered on the left chest, sometimes on the back. These clients want one style in one or two colors, quick turnaround, consistent sizing across S to 3XL.

Available styles

Starting points. Every style is fully customizable. Pick a base, tell us your specs, get a quote.

Coach jacket

Snap front, nylon shell, unlined or mesh. The team and streetwear default.

Bomber jacket

Ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem. Zip front. Classic silhouette.

Windbreaker

Lightweight nylon, hooded, packable. Water-resistant with DWR coating.

Varsity jacket

Wool body, PU or leather sleeves. Snap front. Chenille patch ready.

Fleece jacket

Full zip or quarter zip. Mid-weight layering. 280-320gsm polar fleece.

Softshell jacket

What you can customize on every jacket

Jackets have more components than any other garment we make.

Shell fabric

Nylon for windbreakers and coach jackets. Polyester for bombers and softshells. Cotton twill or canvas for heavier outerwear. Wool for varsity bodies. Weight depends on the style. A windbreaker shell runs 70-100gsm. A softshell sits around 200-280gsm. A wool varsity body is 400gsm+. Tell us the style and we recommend the fabric.

Lining

This is the part most people forget to spec and the part that determines how the jacket actually feels. Unlined for warm-weather shells. Mesh lining for breathability. Taffeta lining for a smooth interior. Quilted lining with poly fill for warmth. Sherpa lining for heavyweight warmth. The lining adds cost and weight. A mesh-lined coach jacket and a sherpa-lined coach jacket are different products at different price points.

Color

Pantone matching on all shell fabrics. Contrast lining colors available (a different color inside than outside is a small upgrade that customers notice). Stock nylon and polyester colors ship faster.

Zipper & closure

Full zip, half zip, snap front. YKK zippers are the default and we recommend them. They cost about 30% more than generic but the difference in smoothness and durability is obvious. Branded zipper pulls with your logo are available. Metal or nylon coil. Reverse coil (hidden teeth) for a cleaner front.

Pockets

Hand warmer pockets (slant or vertical). Chest pocket. Interior phone pocket. Zippered vs snap closure. A hidden interior pocket at chest height is the most requested add-on we get on jacket orders. Everyone wants one once someone mentions it.

Logo & decoration

Embroidery, screen print, chenille patches, heat transfer, woven patches. Jackets are the product where decoration goes biggest. Full back embroidery. Sleeve patches. Chest logos. Varsity chenille letters. More detail in the decoration section below.

Sizing

S to 5XL. Jackets need more room than base layers so the grading is different from T-shirts. We adjust chest, shoulder, and sleeve length per size. Custom charts available.

Labels & packaging

Woven main label, care label, hang tag. Interior brand label at the inside pocket or back neck. Jackets often get an extra label (the interior woven label that premium brands use). Individual poly bag. Jackets take more packaging space so carton counts per box are lower than for tees or polos.

Fabric availability

Stock nylon and polyester in 1-3 days. Wool, custom hardware, and specialty linings take 7-15 days.

Nylon

The shell for windbreakers, coach jackets, and anoraks. 70-100gsm. Lightweight, water-resistant (with DWR coating), packable. Ripstop nylon for tear resistance. Taslan nylon for a more textured, matte finish. Most streetwear coach jackets use a 90gsm ripstop.

Polyester

Bombers, softshells, fleece. Heavier than nylon. 150-320gsm depending on the product. Polar fleece at 280-320gsm for standalone fleece jackets. Bonded polyester at 200-280gsm for softshells. Takes sublimation if you need it, but most jacket orders use embroidery or patches instead.

Cotton twill / canvas

For heavier jackets, overshirts, and utility outerwear. 200-350gsm. The same fabric family as pants and work shirts, but cut as outerwear. Waxed cotton treatment available for a weatherproof finish (adds 5-7 days).

Wool

Varsity jacket bodies. Melton wool at 400-500gsm. Dense, structured, holds its shape. Combined with PU leather or genuine leather sleeves. Wool bodies are sourced separately from other jacket fabrics and take longer to arrive. Budget an extra 5-7 days for wool procurement on first orders.

Branding & decoration

Jackets are where branding goes biggest. More surface area, more methods, more options than any other product.

Embroidery

Left chest logos, back yoke, sleeve patches. Flat embroidery for clean lines. 3D puff for raised texture (works on heavier fabrics, not on thin nylon shells). Direct embroidery or embroidered patches that get sewn on. Patches are better when you want to apply the same logo to different jacket styles without re-digitizing.

Chenille patches

The varsity jacket method. Thick, fuzzy, textured letters and mascots. Built on a felt backing and sewn onto the jacket body. Each patch is made separately, so per-piece costs are higher than embroidery. The look is impossible to replicate any other way. If you're making a varsity or letterman jacket, this is non-negotiable.

Screen print

Full back prints, large-scale graphics. Works on nylon and polyester shells. Water-based ink for softness. Plastisol for opacity on dark shells. Coach jackets with a big back print are the most common screen-printed jacket we produce.

Custom hardware

Branded zipper pulls (molded or engraved, your logo). Branded snap buttons. Custom cord ends on hoods and drawstrings. The hardware is the thing people touch every time they put the jacket on. A custom zipper pull with your logo costs less than most clients expect and does more for brand perception than an extra print location. Minimum order for custom hardware is 500-1,000 pieces.

From inquiry to delivery

1

Tell us what you need

Email or WhatsApp your specs: style, shell fabric, lining, decoration, quantity, logo files. A photo reference of the style you want saves a lot of back-and-forth. If you have a sample jacket you like, ship it over.

2

Approve a sample

Sample in 5-7 working days. Jackets with custom hardware (branded zips, snaps) take a few extra days because the hardware has to be produced first. Most clients approve jackets in one round if the style is straightforward (coach, windbreaker). Varsity jackets with chenille patches usually take two rounds.

3

We produce

50% deposit, then 10-15 working days for orders under 1,000 pieces. Photos before packing.

4

You receive

Balance, then we ship. DHL/FedEx/UPS in 3-7 days. Air and sea freight for bigger orders. Jackets are bulkier than other garments so carton volume is higher per piece. We factor this into the shipping quote.
